Yay for not having finals…

I think I mentioned this in the previous post but at my school we don’t have finals. Instead we have presentations that are passionately called Transitional Presentations of Learning, or TPOLs for short. These are, basically, fifteen minute speeches about what we have done over the past year and why this has prepared us to move onto the next grade. The best part about it is you have to do the presentation to a panel which includes a couple teachers and at least one community leader.

Being the procrastinating sort, I have been putting off writing my speech for as long as possible. This leaves me up at 9 o’clock the night before frantically writing away. It’s really not as bad as you might think though. I have already written an essay that will give me most of the content of the speech.

You may be asking yourself, “If he has so much work to do, why is he blogging about it instead of actually doing it?” Well, the answer is I am trying out this new thing I like to call reverse anti-procrastination. That is, scheduling regular intervals of doing something totally irrelevant. This also requires that you be accountable with your time.

Oh man, something actually worth spending my after-break time on. There was a 7.4 earthquake. Alright, that is all, I must go.

I feel so stupid that I haven’t noticed the earthquakes at all…I’m very unaware. TPOL’s were SCARY. When I did mine though it was easy…hope yours went well. Oh my! I’m watching the news and they are saying how we have to be prepared for an earthquake…I will not be prepared. Lol. Well, later twin…last day tomarrow. Much love-
