Sweet Youth Fall
Alright, here is a pretty cool story about one of my favorite bands of all time. It all started early last year when my friend Brie lent me a couple CDs. One of them was “I Think I’m Gonna Be Sick” by Dandelion and the other, “liquid solid” by Sweet Youth Fall. Both quite exceptional CDs but the Sweet Youth Fall one stands out in my opinion. I asked Brie how she got these CDs and she told me that she bought them for about a dollar each when a local record store was closing.
A year later I still listen to both bands but Sweet Youth Fall is still one of my favorite band ever (just behind Nirvana and Alice in Chains). I loved Sweet Youth Fall so much I decided to look into them a little. I googled them only to find a geocities page that had not been updated since December of 2001. Interestingly enough, in that posting, the author points out that he has heart problems. I assumed he died until I scrolled down a little to find the track list of their new CD.
I googled one of the tracks and instantly came up with a new band called Greenlight Promise. They have a new CD out and I think I’m going to buy it off CD Baby.
